AT&T and Alltel Merger

You need to checkout wirefly.com I got my new droid 2's with verizon from there for $50 each, VZ best deal was $199 bogo. They are an actual store not just some online phone seller. I called and talked to an actual english speaking person to place my order. Got unlimited text/pic/vid messaging and unlimited net on both lines discounted the unlimited net on the second line from $30 to $20.

Made this post from mine settin in Flatwoods, internet is aas fast as the Hughesnet we have at the house in KY.

Wait, so you still have an Alltel phone? Of course they were going to be cut off, or did you activate the new ones. I have been all over Wise Co today and haven't had the first problem

I didn't even notice that he said he called Alltel to complain. Alltel didn't send you new phones ATT did, you had the opportunity to go online or send in from the letter you got from ATT to choose your new phones or upgrade. If you were using the new phones you received without requesting then you had to activate them and were instantly switched to ATT and were not using an alltel phone.

We called at&t, couldn't get anyone, then called alltel and asked them if they knew what was going on...they told us that and gave us an at&t number(a different one than we had been calling and not getting anyone) and they told us the same thing. But apparently this is happening more and mainly just within the past hour, my FB feed just blew up with at&t hate statuses, a ****ton of people just lost service.

I must be the lucky one, I have never lost service, I am 100% happy with AT&T, people say they can't get it somewhere and when I go there have great service. Guess I am just lucky but who knows. The ONLY place I don't have service that I normally did was in ****enson County which doesn't bother me that much because it wasn't that good over there when you did get it.

Also I had to call Customer Service with AT&T maybe 3 times for different stuff and always got through no problem and the people were very nice. Guess I should just count my blessings that I've been one of the lucky ones.

That was about 10 people earlier that started posting out of nowhere, I looked and they were from big stone, wise, coeburn from what I seen...haven't heard of anymore since then. Not big on this Incredible, so ordered the Storm2, it was the pre-owned one so it was free...just like BB's too much, but hopefully Verizon will be better, my mother hasn't had any problems so far.

I guess it was just the number we were calling, they gave us a diff. one, maybe have just been screwing it up...the people were pretty helpful though, even though it was to give us bad news. :(

I'm still with AT&T I haven't lost service yet, time will tell.

I'm with you. So far, no problems. No loss of service. Pleased with my phone.

I have a coworker from Dryden who always have very patchy service between there and Norton, and she's very happy that she now has service in areas where they never could get service before.

Another coworker has a baby sitter some distance back on Guest River and now she has service the full distance from work to her sitter's house.
